IRGC Closely Monitoring Enemy Movements: Safavi

TEHRAN -- The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Rahim Safavi, said that the Revolutionary Guards are closely monitoring all enemy movements in order to safeguard the Islamic Republic of Iran against all future threats, IRNA reported.

According to the IRGC Public Relations Office, Safavi spoke about the defense and rapid reaction capabilities of the Air Force at the fourth gathering of IRGC commanders at the IRGC Air Force training center.

Safavi said that the IRGC Air Force has the ability to respond to any foreign threat, adding, "The IRGC Air Force is a powerful and capable force which meets the needs of the Islamic Revolution".
